Licences, advisories, and domain dates

A plain guide to the records that matter.

A Filipino who wants to buy crypto meets venues that claim a licence, venues that say nothing, and venues that appeared last month. This site puts three kinds of public record side by side: the licence list of the Bangko Sentral, the SEC's crypto-related advisories, and the creation date of a venue's domain. Each answers a different question.

Crypto service providers on the central bank's list

Each row is an institution as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas lists it, under the status the list gives. The date is the list's own "as of" date; the list gives no date per institution.

What each record answers

Five questions these records help you ask

A trading account with an international broker

Opening an account means agreeing to a contract

The account is with FxPro, an international broker offering CFDs on currencies, metals, indices, shares and crypto. A CFD is an agreement on a price; no asset is delivered and nothing is registered in your name. CFDs are leveraged and carry a high risk of losing the money deposited.
