Corrections desk

Write to the editorial desk

This page tells you what to send, what the desk can act on, and what it cannot answer. It also states plainly how this site earns its money.

Email: editor@regulatornotesph.pages.dev

What the desk does

The desk reads the central bank’s licence list and the SEC’s advisory pages, then republishes one measurement: whether a name appears on a public list, with the date and hour it was read. Each table names its source and links to it, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk does not add commentary about whether a firm is good or bad; it only records what the public list says at that moment.

If a figure looks wrong, write to editor@regulatornotesph.pages.dev. The desk will re-read the source, compare the date, and correct the page if the figure was misread or the source has changed. A correction is dated on the page, so a reader can see when the figure was last checked against its source.

What is worth writing about

Send a message when a figure on this site does not match the public source it claims to be taken from. Include the page, the row, and what you saw at the source. The desk will re-open the table and re-read the licence list or advisory page. If the source has moved or closed, the desk will update the link and the date. A question about how the measurement is taken is also welcome, and the answer will be added to the page if it helps other readers.

A correction is not a promise to change a figure because a broker or a promoter asks. The desk changes a figure only when the named public source shows a different entry, or when the desk misread the source. If the source itself is wrong, the desk cannot fix it, but it will say so on the page.

What the desk cannot answer

This desk does not give investment advice, does not recommend a broker, and does not help with a broker’s account. It cannot see your account, your deposits, or your withdrawals, and it cannot tell you why a broker blocked a payment or closed a trade. For questions about your own account, write to the broker. For questions about a firm’s registration status, read the table and then check the linked source yourself.

The desk cannot answer questions about a firm that is not already on a public list. It does not investigate firms, does not call regulators on a reader’s behalf, and does not pass messages to the SEC or the central bank. If you believe you have been defrauded, report to the police or the SEC’s enforcement unit directly.

How this site is funded

This site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, this site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. That is the only money this site earns. The affiliate relationship does not change what the tables say: the figures are taken from the central bank and the SEC, not from FxPro.

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader’s browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site’s publisher does not read a reader’s personal data out of them.
